• Micro-Thin Cuff: The tube is equipped with a micro-thin polyurethane cuff membrane, designed with a high volume, low pressure (HVLP) configuration. This design minimizes the risk of pulmonary aspiration while reducing airway trauma and mucosal injury.

• Cuff Placement: The short, cylindrical cuff is positioned near the tube's tip, creating a subglottic cuff-free zone for optimal anatomical placement. The absence of a Murphy eye allows for more distal cuff placement, enhancing safety.

Usage Guidelines

• Age Suitability: Recommended for children aged 6 to less than 8 years. Proper sizing and placement are crucial, with the black intubation depth mark positioned between the vocal cords during intubation.

• Cuff Management: Inflate the cuff only enough to achieve an effective seal, ensuring pressure does not exceed 20 cm H₂O. Test the integrity of the cuff, pilot balloon, and valve before use.
