Construction and Design

Available in various ring colors including Black, Blue, Green, Gold, Purple, Red, and Silver, the lens is built for durability. Its robust construction is complemented by a 20% wider field of view compared to classic 20D lenses, making it suitable for detailed examination of the retina, macula, and optic nerve.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning with a mild, pH-neutral detergent is recommended, avoiding microfiber cloths. For disinfection, compatible high-level disinfectants include Bode Mikrobac Tissues and CaviWipes. Sterilization methods compatible with the lens include Ethylene Oxide (ETO), Steam, Sterrad®, V-Pro®, and Sterizone VP4.

• Steam Sterilization: Pre-vacuum at 132°C (US) or 134°C (EU/UK) for 3–4 minutes with a 20-minute dry time.
• Drying: Use an ultra-soft, low-lint, cotton cloth.

Improper cleaning may lead to cosmetic discoloration, though it does not affect functionality. Ring color may fade after multiple reprocessing cycles without impacting performance. Storage should be in a clean, dry environment at room temperature.

The lens comes with a complimentary case and offers optional free custom engraving of up to 14 characters. Manufactured in the USA, it holds US FDA approval, ensuring compliance with high regulatory standards.
