Description
The HOYA Vivinex iSert XC1 is an advanced intraocular lens (IOL) designed for use in cataract surgery. Crafted from glistening-free hydrophobic acrylic, this lens offers exceptional clarity and long-term visual quality. Its proprietary aspheric optic design, featuring two aspheric elements, reduces spherical aberration and minimizes coma, even in cases of lens decentration.
Optic Features
- UV Protection: Integrated UV filter for enhanced eye protection.
- Edge Design: Square, thin, and textured optic edge to reduce posterior capsule opacification (PCO) by acting as a barrier against lens epithelial cell migration.
- Surface Quality: Smooth, precise optic surface with active oxygen processing treatment to minimize dysphotopsia and higher-order aberrations.
Haptic Design
The lens includes a textured-rough haptic surface, ensuring improved grip within the capsular bag and preventing sticking during folding or delivery.
Delivery System
The preloaded Vivinex iSert® injector system is ergonomically designed for controlled and reproducible lens delivery. It features:
- Precision Tip: For consistent delivery.
- Slider and Screw Mechanism: For controlled advancement.
- Adjustable Insert Shield: Manages injector tip insertion depth.
