Material and Design
Crafted from glistening-free hydrophobic acrylic, the Vivinex™ material ensures long-term clarity and visual quality. The lens features a proprietary aspheric optic design with two aspheric elements, effectively reducing spherical aberration and minimizing coma, even in cases of lens decentration. Surface and Edge Treatment
The optic surface undergoes active oxygen processing, resulting in a smooth, regular finish. The lens includes a square posterior edge with a radius of less than 10.0µm, significantly reducing posterior capsule opacification (PCO). The thin, textured optic edge and square posterior edge act as barriers against lens epithelial cell migration, reducing dysphotopsia and enhancing visual quality.
Light Filtering
Integrated UV and blue light filters in the XY1 model provide additional protection, contributing to overall eye health and comfort.

The lens has an optic diameter of 6.00 mm and an overall length of 13.00 mm. It is available in a power range from +6.00 to +30.00 diopters, in 0.50 D increments, allowing for precise customization to meet individual patient needs.
Haptic Design
The haptic components are also made from hydrophobic acrylic Vivinex™, featuring a textured-rough surface that improves grip and reduces adhesion within the capsular bag, ensuring stable positioning of the lens.
Injector System
The preloaded Vivinex iSert injector system includes a front injector tip with an outer diameter of 1.70 mm, recommended for an incision size of 2.20 mm. This makes it suitable for micro-incision cataract surgery, facilitating a minimally invasive procedure.
Optical Constants
The lens provides specific optical constants for IOL power calculation, including a nominal A-Constant of 118.9, and optimized constants for various calculation methods such as Haigis, Hoffer Q, Holladay 1, and SRK/T.
Handling and Performance
The preloaded system allows for a stepwise loading and delivery process with a uni-directional slider and screw injector with a fixed grip, enhancing handling precision. The aspheric design compensates for corneal spherical aberration and is tolerant to coma, ensuring superior optical performance.
