• Cuff Inflation: Inflate the cuff only to the necessary sealing pressure, continuously monitoring to maintain safety.

• Preparation: Before use, test the cuff, pilot balloon, and valve by inflation, ensuring all air is evacuated from the cuff after testing.

• Aseptic Technique: Employ aseptic techniques throughout and avoid manual compression of the pilot balloon. After use, the tube should be discarded appropriately.
