Aci-Jel is a therapeutic vaginal jelly designed to restore and maintain the natural acidic pH of the vagina, typically ranging from 3.8 to 4.5. This product is marketed under names such as Aci-Jel Balance and Aci-Jel Therapeutic Vaginal Jelly. It serves as an adjunctive therapy to help prevent and treat vaginal infections, including trichomonas infection, non-specific vaginitis, and cervicitis. Its use is particularly beneficial during and after menopause or in situations where vaginal pH imbalance may occur, such as after intercourse or menstruation.

Application

Aci-Jel is supplied in 85g or 100g tubes, each providing approximately 20 applications. The tube nozzle is protected by a tamper-resistant seal. It should be stored below 25°C and has a shelf life of up to three years. Users are advised not to use the product if the seal is punctured or missing.

Safety Information

Aci-Jel is intended for vaginal use only and is not a contraceptive. Mild irritation, itching, or burning may occur in some users. There are no known serious adverse reactions or contraindications. However, caution is advised when using other vaginal products concurrently. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding should only occur if prescribed by a healthcare professional.
