• Patient Comfort: The casting tape features soft edges and is air-permeable, enhancing patient comfort. Its X-ray transparency allows for easy medical imaging without removing the cast.

• Ease of Application: The low tack resin allows for easy handling, enabling medical personnel to mold the tape with standard examination gloves. It can be cut before drying and removed with cast scissors, providing convenience during application and removal.

• Adaptability: The tape conforms well to anatomical contours, making it suitable for areas like the heel and Achilles tendon. The stability and flexibility can be adjusted by varying the number of layers applied.

Application Instructions

• Sizes and Colors: Available in widths ranging from 2.5 cm to 12.5 cm and lengths of 1.8 m to 3.6 m, CELLACAST ACTIVE comes in a variety of colors including creme, blue, red, black, purple, and orange.

• Professional Use: Intended for single use and should be applied by trained medical personnel. Recommended water temperature for dipping is 20–24°C. After submerging in water, the bandage should be molded onto the affected area and allowed to harden.

• Setting Time: The setting time ranges from 2.5 to 5 minutes, with full weight-bearing capability achieved within 20 to 30 minutes.

Safety and Storage

• Precautions: Contains isocyanates before setting, which may cause skin or eye irritation. It is advisable to use gloves and ensure proper ventilation during application.

• Storage Conditions: Store below 24°C in a cool, dry place away from moisture. Dispose of the product responsibly after use, ensuring the resin is fully set.
