Intended Use

These clips are intended for use in procedures across cardiovascular and general surgery domains. However, they are not suitable for use as a contraceptive tubal occlusion device and are contraindicated for ligating the renal artery during laparoscopic donor nephrectomies.

Usage Guidelines

Surgeons are advised to select the appropriate clip size based on the vessel or tissue structure. For renal artery ligation, more than one clip should be used on the patient side, with a minimum distal cuff of 2–3 mm beyond the distal clip. Ensuring the security of closure after ligation is crucial, and compatibility with Weck appliers should be maintained for safe application.

Maintenance and Sterilization

Appliers should be cleaned and sterilized according to the manufacturer's instructions. Recommended sterilization methods include pre-vacuum and gravity settings, with specific temperatures and durations.
