Inadine PVP-I NA Dressing, developed by Acelity, is a specialized wound care solution designed to manage and protect various types of wounds. This dressing is crafted from a low-adherent knitted viscose fabric, ensuring minimal trauma to the wound bed and reducing pain during removal. It is impregnated with an ointment containing 10% povidone iodine, providing broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity.

Versatile Application

Inadine Dressing can be used as a primary dressing or in conjunction with secondary dressings, depending on the level of wound exudate. It is suitable for a wide range of wound types, including:

• Ulcerative wounds (such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, and diabetic foot ulcers)
• Minor burns
• Minor traumatic skin loss injuries (such as cuts, grazes, and fingertip injuries)

Usage Instructions

• Application: Prepare the wound and apply the dressing directly. Change the dressing based on the color indicator, typically every 3 to 7 days.
• Removal: Gently stretch the dressing at diagonally opposite corners for easy removal.

Precautions

Inadine Dressing should not be used in individuals with known hypersensitivity to iodine, those with thyroid disorders, or in specific conditions such as Duhring’s herpetiform dermatitis. It is also contraindicated for use in neonates, infants under 6 months, and individuals with certain medical conditions or medications.

Storage

Store the dressing below 25°C, away from light and moisture, and avoid frost. Available in sizes 5 cm x 5 cm and 9.5 cm x 9.5 cm, each box contains 25 dressings.
