Biosyn is a synthetic, absorbable monofilament suture crafted from GLYCOMER 631, a copolymer consisting of glycolide, dioxanone, and trimethylene carbonate. This suture is specifically designed for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, making it suitable for use in ophthalmic surgery. It is not recommended for cardiovascular or neurological procedures.
