Description
The 2SAN Bacterial Vaginosis Vaginal Swab Test is an innovative tool designed to assist in the diagnosis of bacterial vaginosis through the measurement of vaginal pH levels. This rapid, dry chemical test offers a semi-quantitative detection method, making it suitable for both professional in vitro diagnostic use and self-testing.
How It Works
The test operates by using a swab to collect a vaginal specimen, which is then applied to a test strip containing bromocresol green. The strip undergoes a color change based on the pH level, providing immediate results. A color chart is included for easy interpretation:
- Green/Yellow-Green: Normal pH (3–4.4)
- Blue: Abnormal pH (>4.4)
