Description
ABENA San Premium, also marketed as Abri-San Premium, is a branded range of disposable anatomically shaped incontinence pads and inserts for adults. The range is designed for both men and women and covers a wide spectrum of urinary incontinence needs, from slim, discreet inserts for light loss through to larger pads for moderate, heavy, and very heavy urine loss. Some higher absorbency options are also described as suitable for heavy blood loss.
Key features
The body-contoured shape is intended to follow the natural anatomy for a closer fit and improved comfort. A breathable leak-proof backsheet helps contain fluid while allowing air exchange, and the soft non-woven top sheet is designed to feel gentle against the skin. Inside, a high-performance absorbent core with superabsorbent polymers works with TopDry technology to acquire fluid quickly, distribute it efficiently, and maintain a drier surface feel.
Standing leak guards with front and rear barriers provide 360-degree leakage protection, while an odour control system helps reduce unwanted smells. The range is dermatologically tested and features an uncoloured inner surface. A wetness indicator changes colour as the product becomes saturated, with graduated indicators available on higher absorbency sizes. Absorbency levels are also colour coded for easier product selection.

Use and sustainability
Smaller sizes can be used as discreet inserts, while higher-coverage pads are typically paired with fixation underwear or fixation pants as part of a two-piece system to support fit and help reduce leakage risk. Choice of day or night use depends on the absorbency level selected.
The range is certified with the Nordic Eco-label, and its raw materials are sourced from FSC-certified forestry.
