Description

ABENA Skincare Ointment is a barrier ointment designed to support dry, irritated, sensitive, or compromised skin. Supplied in a 150 mL tube, it is suitable for daily use across the body and can also be used on hands, feet, lips, and other areas prone to dryness. It is also appropriate for skin exposed to incontinence-related moisture, including skin affected by incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD).

Key Features

This ointment contains 41% lipids to provide intensive hydration while helping restore and maintain the skin’s natural barrier. The formula includes dimethicone, which helps create a protective layer against moisture and irritants, and allantoin, which helps soothe and protect irritated skin. It is fragrance-free, colourant-free, and formulated with a skin-friendly pH of 5–6.

Protection and Moisturising Performance

ABENA Skincare Ointment is clinically tested to moisturise for up to 24 hours. It also provides barrier protection from the initial application for up to 8 hours. Its wash-off-resistant barrier helps shield vulnerable skin from ongoing exposure to moisture and external irritants, making it useful where persistent skin protection is needed.

How to Use

Apply as part of daily skincare to areas requiring extra hydration and protection. For general body care, use on dry or sensitive areas as needed. When used in incontinence care, apply a thin layer to help protect the skin without over-application.
