Description

The Aquaflush Maxi Actif Starter Set is a latex-free bowel irrigation system designed for dual-purpose use in paediatric transanal or rectal irrigation and stoma irrigation. It is intended for users who are able to sit on a toilet or commode and hold the cone in place during irrigation. The system uses a measured amount of body-temperature water to help irrigate the bowel in a controlled manner.

Design and operation

The set features a pre-assembled 1.2-litre water bag and tubing arrangement with fewer connections, helping simplify setup and handling. An ergonomic screw-cap supports easier filling, while the built-in temperature indicator helps check that the water is suitable for use.

A soft hand pump allows the user to control irrigation speed more comfortably. The orange in-line tap provides additional water-flow control during the procedure. Click/close connectors with one-way valves are designed to reduce backflow into the system.

Cone and handling features

The included short silicone cones are smooth and shaped for practical insertion and use. Each cone has a rounded tip and two side eyelets to support water delivery. The set also has discreet styling and includes a fold-flat water-bag stand for easier storage and transport.
