Description

AsGUARD Transparent Film Dressing is a sterile clear polyurethane film dressing designed for wound care and site protection. The 6 cm x 7 cm variant in this range is suited to low- or no-exudate wounds and is also commonly used to cover and secure insertion sites such as IV lines and cannula sites. Its transparent construction allows the covered area to remain visible, supporting ongoing visual monitoring without frequent dressing removal.

The film is flexible and conforms closely to the skin, helping it sit comfortably over contoured areas while maintaining reliable adhesion. High moisture vapour permeability helps support skin breathability and reduces the build-up of excess moisture under the dressing. At the same time, the water-resistant barrier offers protection during routine washing and is compatible with showering when applied correctly.
