Askina® DresSil Active with border is a multilayer silicone foam wound dressing designed for advanced wound care where effective exudate management and gentle skin contact are important. Manufactured by B. Braun under the Askina brand, this bordered dressing combines a soft silicone wound-contact layer with an absorbent multilayer pad and protective film backing.

Indications for use

Askina® DresSil Active with border is intended for exuding wounds, including pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, foot ulcers, traumatic wounds such as skin tears, and surgical wounds. It is also described for use on dry or necrotic wounds when combined with appropriate gels, and for prophylactic application to help reduce pressure-related skin damage.

Flat dressings: 7.5 x 7.5 cm, 10 x 10 cm, 12.5 x 12.5 cm, 15 x 15 cm, and 15 x 20 cm.
