Description

The Bodichek instant cold pack is a single-use cold compress designed to deliver immediate cold therapy without refrigeration or pre-cooling. It is intended for first-aid situations where quick cooling may help reduce discomfort and swelling. Because it is portable and ready to use, it can be kept in sports bags, first-aid kits, workplaces, vehicles, or at home for unexpected minor injuries.

Common applications include sprains, strains, bruises, contusions, sports injuries, minor burns, toothaches, insect bites, and other minor pain or swelling where cold therapy is appropriate. The pack is latex-free, which may make it suitable for settings where latex sensitivity is a concern.

How it works

The pack is activated by rupturing the internal fluid pouch and then shaking it for about 10 seconds. This creates an instant cooling effect, allowing use when conventional ice packs or refrigeration are not available.

Directions for use

Lay the pack flat, then strike or press the center to break the inner pouch. Shake well for about 10 seconds. Wrap the activated pack in a towel or other insulating fabric before applying it to the affected area. Store unused packs at room temperature.

Safety information

For external use only. Do not apply directly to skin. Do not puncture the pack or swallow the contents. Do not freeze or refreeze after activation. If contents come into contact with skin or eyes, flush thoroughly with plenty of water. Adult supervision is recommended. People with circulatory or sensory problems, sensitivity to hot or cold therapy, or a history of frostbite should seek medical advice before use.
