Multigate Protex4 Burns Drape (U‑split) is an impervious, sterile, single‑use surgical drape designed for trauma and burns procedures where enhanced fluid control and monitoring are required. Sized 230 cm x 270 cm in blue for high‑contrast visibility, it establishes a consistent sterile field and supports minor procedures as well as complex wound care.

Construction and Materials

• Protex4 advanced bi‑laminate: absorbent top layer bonded to an impervious backing
• Pliable and tough for secure draping and patient contouring
• Low linting and latex free to support infection control and reduce sensitisation risk
• Ultra‑reinforcement layer surrounding the split area for durability in high‑stress zones

Barrier and Fluid Management

• AAMI Level 4 protection across the entire drape to prevent fluid strikethrough and microorganism penetration
• Full‑surface absorbency with super‑absorbent performance in critical zones to contain irrigation and blood
• 270° clear PE fluid control pouch with multiple suction ports for efficient collection and visibility to assist fluid/blood loss monitoring

Procedure‑Ready Design

• Adhesive‑reinforced U‑split (30 cm x 100 cm) for secure placement around the operative site, graft zones, or lines
• Side and buttock application pouches to aid controlled positioning and manage devices/tubing
• Blue colour provides contrast with skin and fluids to support field awareness
