Burnshield Digit Dressing

Description

BURNSHIELD Digit Dressing is a sterile, latex-free hydrogel dressing developed for the initial emergency care of burns and scalds affecting fingers and toes. Its narrow, extra-long format makes it suitable for wrapping around individual digits while also helping to keep adjacent fingers or toes separated during early treatment.

The dressing measures 25 mm x 500 mm and contains 3.5 ml of water-based hydrogel. Burnshield formulation information lists the gel as containing 96% purified water and 1% Melaleuca alternifolia, commonly known as tea tree oil. This hydrogel construction helps provide a cooling and soothing effect when applied to the injured area.
