Burnshield Hydrogel Tube is a sterile, water-based burn-care hydrogel designed for immediate first-aid use during the emergency phase of burns and scalds. This 25 ml tube format is suited to targeted application, including smaller injuries and difficult-to-reach areas where controlled coverage is helpful. It may be used for fire, thermal, scalding, chemical, radiation, and electrical burns, and is also commonly referenced for sunburn, superficial burns, and partial-thickness burns.

The hydrogel has a high water content that helps cool and soothe the affected area by absorbing and dissipating heat. This cooling action assists in limiting ongoing skin damage after the burn occurs. Its moist, non-adherent gel format helps support wound hydration and can be used under a suitable dressing to maintain a protected healing environment.

Directions for Use

Apply generously over and beyond the burned area as soon as possible. Cover with a non-adherent or non-absorbent dressing or bandage, and reapply when needed to help prevent dehydration of the wound. Medical attention should be sought following first-aid treatment.
