Overview

Coverflex Fast by HARTMANN is a seamless, round‑knitted, permanently elastic tubular bandage designed for non‑adhesive fixation. Predominantly viscose, it offers a soft, skin‑friendly, silk‑like feel to support comfortable wear on delicate or compromised skin.

Intended uses

• Secondary fixation over primary wound dressings.
• Dermatology: as a moist dressing during the acute phase of atopic eczema (moistened; used with liquids/ointments/creams) under healthcare professional supervision.
• Dermatology: as a dry dressing during the chronic phase of atopic eczema with topical agents (ointments, creams, powder, lotion/tincture, paste).
• Inner lining to help prevent skin irritation under compression, zinc paste, support, cast, adhesive and cohesive bandages.

Composition and design

• 91% viscose, 5% polyamide, 4% elastane.
• Seamless, round‑knitted construction maintains even, gentle fixation without adhesives.
• Permanently elastic fabric conforms to body contours and allows freedom of movement.

Color‑coded widths (width x length; recommended circumference; typical application):

• Size 1 (Red): 3.5 cm x 10 m; 8–12 cm; children’s arms/elbows/feet; adults’ toes/fingers.
• Size 2 (Green): 5 cm x 10 m; 12–25 cm; adults’ hands/arms/feet; children’s legs/arms.
• Size 3 (Blue): 7.5 cm x 10 m; 20–45 cm; adults’ arms/legs; children’s heads/legs.
• Size 4 (Yellow): 10.7 cm x 10 m; 35–65 cm; adults’ arms/legs/head; children’s heads/trunks.
• Size 5 (Beige): 17.5 cm x 10 m; 56–120 cm; adults’ trunks.
