Disposable Dental Bibs

Description

Disposable dental bibs/barrier pads provide a simple, single-use layer of protection during dental and related clinical procedures. A soft, absorbent top captures fluids and splatter, while a liquid-proof backing helps prevent soak-through to clothing and surfaces. Layers are securely bonded to resist separation and maintain durability throughout appointments.

Size and colors

• Common patient size is around 13 × 18 in (approximately 33 × 45 cm); minor variation by manufacturer may occur
• Available in multiple colors such as blue, pink, lavender, green, black, white, cobalt, neon orange, lime green, fuchsia, grey, and yellow

Use and handling

• Intended as a single-use barrier to protect patient clothing and reduce cross-contamination during hygiene, restorative, whitening, pediatric, orthodontic, and crown/bridge procedures
• May also be used as lap covers or as tray/table protectors
• Drape over the shoulders and chest; secure with clips or built-in adhesive strips when present; replace if saturated

Disposal

If contaminated with saliva and/or blood, discard according to biohazard waste protocols established for the clinic. Disposable clips can support sterility.

Packaging

Commonly supplied in bulk packs of 500 per case; larger configurations (such as 2000 pieces packed as 4 × 500) are also used.
