Description
Ecopack Compostable Garbage Bags and Bin Liners are a branded range designed for collecting food scraps, garden waste, and other organic waste in household and commercial settings. Made from a compostable bioplastic blend of GMO-free corn-starch bio-resins, PLA, and PBAT, the bags are printed with non-toxic inks and intended for use where compostable liners are suitable.
These liners are certified to AS4736 for commercial composting and AS5810 for home composting. In suitable moist composting conditions, they are designed to biodegrade in around 90 to 180 days without leaving harmful residues. They are not intended to break down effectively in landfill conditions.
Range Features
The Ecopack range covers sizes from approximately 8L to 240L, with pack formats including rolls, bundles, and box-dispenser packs. Depending on the size and application, options include tie-handle and flat-top or no-handle styles. Selected larger variants are described as heavy-duty or extra-thick, and some are presented as FOGO-compatible where accepted by local councils.
Typical applications include kitchen bins, commercial bins, wheelie bins, and the collection of food scraps, garden clippings, and other compostable organic waste.
