Ensure Compact – Vanilla (Abbott) is a ready-to-drink oral nutritional supplement (Food for Special Medical Purposes). It is high energy, complete and balanced, and fibre-free. With an energy density of 2.4 kcal/mL in a small 125 mL bottle, it is suitable when low-volume intake is required or preferred.

Intended users and uses

• Adults with, or at risk of, disease-related malnutrition
• When fluid/volume restriction or poor volume tolerance is present
• To support recovery from surgery, injury, and illness
• May be used as a supplemental or sole source of nutrition under medical supervision
• Suitable for tube feeding; Vanilla flavour is preferred for tube feeding
