Description

Abbott Nutrition Ensure Powder is a milkshake-style adult oral nutritional supplement available in Vanilla and Chocolate. When prepared as directed it provides complete, balanced nutrition at 1.0 kcal/mL and may be used as a sole source of nutrition or as a supplement under medical supervision. It is formulated to support adults with poor appetite, involuntary weight loss, or disease-related malnutrition.

Preparation

To make one 230 mL serving: add 195 mL of cold water to a glass, then gradually add 6 level scoops (53.8 g; scoop in can) while stirring until fully dissolved. An 850 g can yields approximately 16 × 230 mL servings.

Storage and precautions

Store unopened cans at room temperature. After opening, cover and keep in a cool, dry place; do not refrigerate dry powder. Use contents within 3 weeks.
