Product Details
Description
A reusable, non‑pneumatic elastic Esmarch bandage designed for limb exsanguination prior to tourniquet inflation in surgical and procedural settings. The St Esmarch (Esmarch Rubber) Bandage aids in evacuating venous blood from an extremity to establish a relatively bloodless field before tourniquet application. Constructed from a durable polymer‑based compound with a silicone coating, it is latex‑free to support use with patients or staff sensitive to natural rubber latex.
Key features
- Non‑pneumatic elastic exsanguination bandage for pre‑tourniquet limb preparation
- Reusable device with defined sterilization parameters
- Polymer‑based construction with silicone coating for smooth wrapping and controlled elastic tension
- Latex‑free material
- CE marked under MDD 93/42/EEC
- Supplied individually (each)
Typical applications
- Operating theatres and procedural suites
- Orthopaedic, plastic, and vascular procedures requiring limb exsanguination before tourniquet inflation

Notes on use
- For use by trained clinical personnel following institutional protocols for exsanguination and tourniquet application.
