Description
The B. Braun Flexima® 3S Closed is a two-piece closed colostomy bag designed for use within the Flexima® 3S ostomy system. In this system, the bag is used separately from the wafer or baseplate, allowing the pouch to be attached to compatible Flexima® 3S wafers as needed. A guided mechanical coupling is incorporated to help position the bag onto the wafer, supporting more controlled and straightforward placement.
Key Features
The pouch is available in ergonomically shaped Midi and Maxi formats to suit different wearing preferences and capacity needs. Midi bags are supplied in beige, while Maxi bags are available in beige or transparent options. The bag material combines a soft non-woven outer layer with an odor-proof plastic film, providing a balance of discretion, comfort, and containment.
A protected high-performance filter with a breathable membrane is included for deodorization. This filter is described as gas-permeable and leak-proof, helping manage gas release while supporting odor control during wear.
