Flexima 3S Ostomy Base Plate

Description

B. Braun Flexima 3S Base Plate/Wafer is the skin barrier component of the Flexima 3S two-piece ostomy system. It is designed to remain in place on the skin while the pouch can be removed and replaced separately, which can make routine pouch changes more convenient without needing to replace the wafer each time.

This base plate connects to compatible Flexima 3S pouches using a guided mechanical flexible coupling, also described as a 3-step coupling. This design helps with pouch positioning during application and supports a secure attachment once connected. The coupling also allows the bag to be positioned in three different orientations to suit individual comfort and management needs.

Compatibility

The wafer is intended for use only with matching Flexima 3S pouches and bags. The most directly supported compatible bag types include:

• Urostomy pouches
