B. Braun Flexima Active O' convex Uro is a one-piece soft-convex urostomy appliance designed for people with flush, flat, slightly retracted, or otherwise difficult-to-fit stomas. The soft-convex design helps improve the fit around the stoma so the appliance can create a more secure seal with the surrounding skin. This may help reduce leakage and support protection of the peristomal area from irritation caused by urine exposure.

Soft-convex fit and skin contact

The appliance uses a flexible soft-convex wafer or ring that adapts to body contours rather than feeling overly rigid. Its gentle convex profile, described across the range as having a 6 mm slope, is intended to encourage better stoma protrusion for flatter or flush stomas. It can also help seal around stomas located in skin folds, fill small hollows, and distribute pressure more evenly and gently across the skin.

The skin interface is a hydrocolloid adhesive and skin protector designed to be flexible, secure, and skin-tolerant. It is intended to support reliable adhesion while remaining gentle on the skin and easier to remove.

Urostomy-specific features

For urinary drainage, Flexima Active O' convex Uro includes an anti-reflux valve to help prevent urine backflow. It also features a B. Braun drainage tap with clearly distinct open and closed positions, supporting more controlled and secure emptying.

Range options

This product range includes Uro and Uro midi variants, with options such as beige split-cover or transparent versions, as well as cut-to-fit and pre-cut formats. Multiple belt loops are included to allow adaptable belt positioning according to individual preference and stoma care needs.
