Description
An empty, top‑fill EVA reservoir intended for decanted nutritional product, reconstituted powder‑based formula, and/or water for enteral administration. It is designed for use with Flocare systems via pump (Infinity) or gravity and features ENFit connectivity compatible with Flocare pack feeding sets and feeding tubes.
Intended use and compatibility
- For enteral feeding using either the Flocare Infinity pump or gravity administration.
- ENFit connectivity enables secure attachment to compatible feeding sets and tubes.
- Suitable media: decanted ready‑to‑use feeds, reconstituted powder‑based formulas, or water.
Variants covered
- Accessory: TF Reservoir pack connectors in 1.3 L and 2.0 L (Risk class: Class Is).
- Giving sets containing the TF reservoir:
- Gravity TF RES Sets: 1.3 L and 2.0 L (Class Is).
- Infinity TF RES Sets: 1.3 L and 2.0 L (Class IIa).
Materials and components (giving sets)
- Reservoir: EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) top‑fill pouch.
- Tubing: medical‑grade PVC, DEHP‑free and latex‑free.
- Components: drip chamber; female ENFit connector with dust cap; ENFit stopcock medication port positioned approximately 40 cm from the distal end (Gravity and Infinity TF sets).
- Infinity TF RES Sets include an Infinity pump insert for use with the Flocare Infinity pump.
Specifications
- Available capacities: 1.3 L and 2.0 L.
- Tubing internal diameter (approx.): 2.7 mm (Infinity TF sets) and 3.9 mm (Gravity TF sets).
Use conditions and cautions
- Single‑patient, single use; replace every 24 hours (maximum 24 h use).
- For powder‑based nutrition, maximum hanging time is 8 hours.
- Do not use the reservoir with hot contents.
