Overview

The FreeGo Enteral Pump Giving Set (ENFit), 40 mm Bottle Set is a single-use administration set designed for use with the Abbott FreeGo enteral feeding pump. It connects Ready‑to‑Hang (RTH) enteral feed containers or Flexitainers to the pump and onward to the patient’s feeding tube. For enteral feeding only; not for IV. Use under medical supervision.

Compatibility

• Pump: Specifically designed for the Abbott FreeGo enteral feeding pump
• Container interface: Screw‑on feedcap for 40 mm RTH bottles and compatible Flexitainers
• Patient end: ENFit connector; a transitional adapter may be required for non‑ENFit tubes

Use and Handling

• Attach the 40 mm cap to the RTH bottle or compatible Flexitainer and pierce the foil using the built‑in cutter
• Seat the cassette in the FreeGo pump rotor loop as directed by pump instructions
• Prime the line using the manual prime tab or the pump’s autoprime feature, as appropriate
• Utilize the in‑line two‑way stopcock for medication administration or flushing per clinical protocol
• Connect to the feeding tube via the ENFit patient connector; use a transitional adapter if the tube is non‑ENFit
