Compatibility and Purpose

A tailor‑made accessory for the Abbott FreeGo enteral feeding system, this backpack is designed to carry and operate the FreeGo pump while supporting mobility during tube feeding. It allows feeds to run with the pump secured inside: a lower pocket provides access to pump controls, and a bottom opening enables unobstructed tubing exit. The back panel can be positioned so the backpack stands upright when needed.

Variants and Container Capacity

• Paediatric: Holds 500 mL and 1000 mL Ready‑to‑Hang (RTH) feed containers; also accommodates 200 mL bottles.
• Adult: Holds 200 mL bottles and 500 mL, 1000 mL, and 1500 mL RTH feed containers.

Functional Design Features

• Padded internal support to secure the Abbott FreeGo pump.
• Printed positioning guides for correct placement of feed containers.
• Velcro straps and looped elastic to stabilise containers; additional Velcro points to secure or coil tubing.
