Hydrofilm Transparent Film Dressing

Description

Hydrofilm from PAUL HARTMANN AG is a sterile, self-adhesive, transparent polyurethane film dressing designed for post-operative protection and fixation. The semi-permeable film provides a breathable barrier with high moisture vapour permeability to support a balanced environment, while remaining waterproof and bacteria-proof to protect against external contamination and allow showering. Its thin, conformable construction supports secure placement over contoured areas and devices.

• Primary protective cover for clean, dry or slightly exuding, primary-healing postoperative and traumatic wounds

• Secondary dressing for retention/fixation
• Securing wound dressings, catheters and cannulas
• Covering gel-forming calcium alginate dressings
• May be used as a sealing element in negative pressure wound therapy systems (per IFU)
