Description
Hydrosorb Gel is a clear, viscous, sterile amorphous hydrogel designed for moist wound treatment. Formulated with water and electrolytes (Ringer’s solution), glycerol, hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC), and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), it supports autolytic debridement by hydrating and softening dry necrotic tissue while absorbing debris in slightly to low-exuding wounds. The gel is preservative-free and contains no propylene glycol. It helps maintain an optimal moist environment for healing and can be applied directly to the wound bed or on gauze for use in cavity wounds. Classified under Hydroactive Wound Dressings – Hydrogels (Amorphous Gel).
