Description

Infatrini is an energy‑dense, nutritionally complete, ready‑to‑drink infant feed for the dietary management of disease‑related malnutrition, faltering growth, increased energy needs and/or fluid restriction. UHT sterilised and ready to use at room temperature, it is intended for enteral use only. Manufactured by Nutricia Ltd (UK), it may be used as a sole source of nutrition from birth up to 9 kg (approximately up to 18 months). Use under medical supervision, after consideration of all feeding options including breastfeeding.

Format and administration

• 125 ml ready‑to‑use bottle.
• Routes: orally by teat/cup or via enteral tube; compatible with Flocare Universal Feeding Sets.
• Warming: serve at room temperature or warm by placing unopened bottle in warm water; do not boil or microwave; shake well and check temperature.
• Tube feeding maximum hanging time: 4 hours.
• Dosage/volume: to be determined by a doctor or dietitian according to age, weight and clinical condition.

• Energy: 1 kcal/ml (≈101 kcal/100 ml; ≈126 kcal per 125 ml bottle).
• Protein: 2.6 g (≈10% energy); whey‑dominant (whey 1.6 g; casein 1.0 g).
• Carbohydrate: 10.3 g (≈41% energy); sugars 5.7 g; lactose 5.2 g.
• Fat: 5.4 g (≈48% energy); saturates 2.2 g; monounsaturates 2.1 g; polyunsaturates 1.1 g; includes MCT 0.6 g.
• LCPs: DHA 17.6 mg; EPA 5.01 mg; LCP ratio 1:1; omega‑6:omega‑3 ≈5:1.
• Fibre/prebiotics: total fibre 0.6 g; GOS/FOS blend 0.8 g (soluble).
• Osmolality: 360 mOsmol/kg H2O; osmolarity: 305 mOsmol/L.
• Nucleotides: 4.3 mg.
• Other bioactives: linoleic acid 799 mg; α‑linolenic acid 139 mg; β‑carotene 35 µg; choline 17 mg; L‑carnitine 2 mg; taurine 7 mg; inositol 25 mg.

Ingredients and allergens

• Water; cow’s milk ingredients (skimmed milk, whey protein, lactose, butter oil); carbohydrate source: maltodextrin; fats/oils: rapeseed, sunflower, coconut; medium‑chain triglycerides from coconut/palm kernel; corn oil; single cell oil; refined tuna fish oil; vitamins and minerals; prebiotic fibres (GOS from milk sugar and FOS); nucleotides; emulsifiers (mono‑ and diglycerides; soy lecithin); acidity regulators.
• Contains allergens: milk (including lactose), soy (lecithin), and fish (tuna oil).

Storage and handling

• Unopened: store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• After opening: close and refrigerate immediately; use within 12 hours. If kept outside the refrigerator, discard unused contents within 4 hours.
• Always discard unfinished feeds.
• UHT sterilised; packaged in a protective atmosphere.
