Lastodur Compression Bandage

HARTMANN’s Lastodur long-stretch compression bandages are permanently elastic, reusable bandages designed for durable compression therapy and for support and relief in musculoskeletal injuries and sports applications. The line offers two compression levels—Lastodur strong and Lastodur soft/light—to match clinical needs while maintaining air permeability, skin friendliness, and close, controllable application. All variants are skin-colored and latex-free.

Lastodur strong

• Type/purpose: Permanently elastic long-stretch compression bandage for durable compression bandaging; also suitable as a support and relief bandage in musculoskeletal injuries and as a sports bandage.
• Compression/elasticity: Stronger compression with approx. 180% elasticity; compression is well controllable for secure, close-fitting bandages.
• Properties: Breathable, skin-friendly, durable, highly conformable; skin-colored; latex-free; supplied with bandage clips.
• Care/processing: Washable at 60 °C; sterilizable by autoclaving at 134 °C.
• Sizes/packaging: Common widths 6 cm, 8 cm, 10 cm, 12 cm, and 20 cm; typical stretched length 7 m. A 10 cm width is also available in a 14 m stretched length. Typically supplied individually boxed (1 bandage per box).
• Usage notes: Remove when the patient is at rest/overnight. Packaging clips are intended for storage/transport and should not be used to secure a bandage on a patient.
• Contraindications: Not for patients with arterial disease.

Lastodur soft / Lastodur light

• Type/purpose: Permanently elastic long-stretch bandage for durable compression bandaging; also for support and relief in musculoskeletal injuries and as a sports bandage.
• Compression/elasticity: Lighter compression with approx. 170% elasticity; permits well-controllable tension for close-fitting, durable bandages.
• Properties and care: Breathable, skin-friendly; skin-colored; latex-free; supplied with bandage clips; washable at 60 °C; sterilizable by autoclaving at 134 °C.
• Size example/packaging: 10 cm × 8.7 m (stretched), individually boxed (1 bandage per box).
• Usage notes: Remove when at rest/overnight.
• Cautions: Not for patients with severe arterial disease.
