Multigate MamaCool Perineal Cooling Pad is a single‑use, non‑medicated cold therapy pad designed to support postpartum recovery after vaginal childbirth. The contoured, saline‑filled pad provides targeted cooling for peri‑urethral and perineal areas, helping relieve discomfort without interfering with breastfeeding. A soft, semi‑absorbent outer layer is gentle on stitches, while perforations allow lochia to pass through to an underlying maternity pad to help keep the area drier (maternity pad required; sold separately). Designed by a midwife, it is hygienic, mess‑free, and easy to use.

Instructions for use

• Freeze for at least 1 hour until firm; allow to soften for approximately 5–10 minutes before use
• Place on top of a maternity pad and wear for 10–20 minutes (or longer if desired)
• Reapply a new pad every 2–4 hours for the first 72 hours after birth, and as needed thereafter
• Positioning tips: place the broader end to the front for peri‑urethral tears, or to the back for perineal tears

Storage and handling

• If not stored in the freezer, keep in a cool, dry, well‑ventilated place away from direct sunlight
• Single‑use; dispose after use

Warnings

• Cold therapy should not be used by individuals with known or suspected circulatory problems unless supervised by a doctor
• If the pad is damaged and contents contact skin, rinse with water; seek medical advice if irritation persists
