Description

The Manfred Sauer IQ-CATH with Gel and 1 L Bag is a sterile, single-use male intermittent self-catheter designed for gentle bladder emptying when a collection bag is required. This version is supplied with a gel sachet and a 1 litre urine collection bag, making it suitable for situations where direct drainage into a toilet is less practical.

At 43 cm in length and available in sizes 12–16 Fr, the catheter is designed to support easier passage through the male urethra. Its soft, rounded and flexible tip is intended to help minimise discomfort during insertion, while the highly bendable neck and approximately 5 cm flexible zone behind the tip assist navigation through urethral narrowings or strictures. A stiffer shaft, or guiding zone, provides added control during handling and insertion.

Material and Design
