Description
The Manfred Sauer IQ-CATH is a single-use intermittent self-catheter designed for intermittent self-catheterisation (ISC). This validated variant features a hydrophilic-coated catheter with an integrated non-touch sleeve or insertion aid and sterile peel-pouch packaging, supporting a more controlled and hygienic handling process during use.
The catheter is ready for immediate use with a pre-activated hydrophilic surface, helping to reduce friction during insertion and withdrawal. It is made from medical-grade, DEHP-free PVC and includes a soft rounded or spherical catheter tip on a highly bendable neck for gentle navigation. Smooth, rounded and polished coated eyelets are designed to support efficient drainage while helping to minimise irritation.
Key Features
- Hydrophilic-coated catheter with pre-activated surface for immediate use
- Integrated non-touch sleeve or insertion aid for more hygienic handling
- Sterile peel-pouch packaging
- Medical-grade, DEHP-free PVC construction
- Soft rounded or spherical tip with a flexible neck
- Smooth polished eyelets
- Colour-coded funnel for easy size identification
- Funnel compatible with standard conical urine-bag connectors
Supported Sizes and Configuration
Supported French sizes reported for this range are CH/FR 10 to 18. Effective catheter lengths are reported as 30 cm and 40 cm, measured excluding the funnel. A 40 cm length is specifically confirmed for the male IQ-CATH 43 sleeve version. As the validated evidence does not confirm one exact size-specific hydrophilic sleeve peel-pouch item, the precise size and length for an individual variant should be checked before purchase.
Supply Information
This product is commonly supplied in boxes of 30 sterile single-use catheters.
