Application and Wear Time

The dressing is easy to apply: simply remove the release film, apply to dry skin ensuring the pad overlaps the wound by 1–2 cm, and smooth the borders without stretching. It can be worn for up to 7 days, depending on the wound and skin condition, or as advised by a healthcare professional. The dressing should be changed if exudate leaks, the absorbent pad is 75% full, or there are signs of infection.

Mepilex Border Flex Lite is sterile, single-use, latex-free, and hypoallergenic. It is available in packs of 5 or 10 dressings, depending on the distributor. The dressing is composed of a soft silicone wound contact layer, absorbent foam, a superabsorbent retention layer, and a breathable, water-resistant film backing.
