Overview

The MIC-KEY Low-Profile Jejunal (J) Feeding Tube Kit with ENFit Extension Sets by Avanos Medical, Inc. is a low-profile enteral access device for delivering nutrition directly to the small intestine. Its button-style design sits close to the skin with an external bolster, and the internal retention balloon helps maintain placement. The system is constructed from medical-grade silicone and uses ENFit connections for enteral compatibility.

Intended Use and Patient Selection

Designed for patients who require jejunal feeding into the distal duodenum or proximal jejunum, including those who cannot tolerate gastric feeding or have conditions such as impaired gastric emptying, severe gastroesophageal reflux, gastric outlet obstruction, aspiration risk, or post-esophagectomy/gastrectomy scenarios. Prescription use only (Rx).

Placement and Replacement

May be placed percutaneously under fluoroscopic or endoscopic guidance, surgically, or used as a replacement device via an established stoma tract. Selection of stoma length and French size should be based on clinical assessment and imaging as appropriate.
