Description
The Avanos MIC-KEY* Over-the-Wire (OTW) Stoma Measuring Device is a sterile, single-use measuring accessory designed for healthcare professionals (Rx only) to determine stoma tract depth prior to selecting a MIC-KEY low-profile feeding tube shaft length. Its over-the-wire design and radiopaque construction support accurate placement assessment while promoting efficiency and patient comfort.
Key Features
- Over-the-wire configuration with a dedicated guidewire port for controlled advancement
- Bi-lumen tube with printed depth markings from 1.0 to 5.0 cm in 0.25 cm increments
- Radiopaque tubing (barium sulfate) for visibility under imaging
- Recessed-tip silicone balloon molded on one end for atraumatic measurement
- Balloon inflation via valve; inflation volume 3 mL (use water per IFU)
- Opposite end includes a molded silicone head with two ports (balloon valve and guidewire port)
