Description

Multigate Interpose is a sterile, single‑use, non‑adherent and non‑adhesive absorbent dressing designed for managing light to moderate wound exudate. It features a soft cotton core enclosed between perforated HDPE film on both sides, allowing exudate to pass through while helping prevent the dressing from sticking to healing tissue. The conformable, white dressing is suitable for frequent changes and should be secured with an appropriate secondary dressing or fixation.

Construction and materials

• Central absorbent layer: 100% natural cotton (meets AS 2835.1:1985)
• Outer layers: net‑like perforated high‑density polyethylene (HDPE) film heat‑laminated to both sides; approx. 114 μm thickness with controlled, consistent porosity
• Two‑sided use: either side can be placed on the wound
• Individually wrapped in sterile peel packs; single‑use only; non‑adhesive

• Non‑adherent contact surfaces help minimize trauma and pain on removal
• Absorbent core draws exudate through the perforations to support a moist wound environment and reduce strike‑through
• Conformable and suitable for frequent dressing changes
• Use with a secondary dressing or fixation for securement and additional absorption as needed
