Description
The Multigate notched tourniquet is a non-sterile, silicone, latex-free device designed to facilitate venous access while supporting infection control practices. Measuring 2.4 cm x 45.5 cm, it provides universal sizing suitable for both adult and paediatric patients. A notched band threads through an integral slit to lock at the desired tension, and a quick, one-hand release mechanism allows immediate decompression by pulling the short end. The soft, flexible band is easy to clean and comfortable against the skin, and the ambidextrous design simplifies application for right- or left-handed users. Available as either single-use or single-patient-use to align with local protocols for reducing cross-contamination.
