Description

The Multigate notched tourniquet is a non-sterile, silicone, latex-free device designed to facilitate venous access while supporting infection control practices. Instructions for Use (Summary)

• Apply 7.5–10 cm above the puncture site
• Thread one end through the slit and pull to desired tension until it locks
• To release, pull the short end for immediate release
• If applied longer than 1 minute, release and re-apply after 2 minutes
• Release as soon as blood starts to flow into the first tube

• Avoid pressures that may impair arterial blood flow
• Prolonged or excessive stasis may contribute to haemolysis
