Overview
Omnifix elastic by HARTMANN is a skin-friendly, elastic, self-adhesive nonwoven fixation roll designed for complete-cover dressing retention. Its soft, adaptable backing and crosswise elasticity conform securely over joints and contoured body areas without restricting movement. The material is highly permeable to air and water vapour to help reduce the risk of skin maceration, and it removes gently without leaving residue. The product is radiolucent for imaging procedures and includes a wave-cut release liner with a printed measuring grid to simplify handling and trimming.

Intended use
- Full-cover retention of primary, non self-adhesive wound dressings (pads, gauzes), especially on large or contoured sites
- Securing equipment, tubing, probes, cannulae, and catheters
- Suitable for patients with sensitive skin; intended for contact with intact skin

- Transparent synthetic rubber–based hotmelt adhesive
- Silicone paper protective liner with waved cut

- Peel adhesion: 12 ± 3 N/25 mm (per internal test methods)

- Duration of use: short-term to prolonged use (over 24 hours up to 30 days)
