Description

Abbott Osmolite Ready‑to‑Hang (RTH) 1.0 kcal/mL is a nutritionally complete, balanced, isotonic, low‑residue, fibre‑free enteral formula designed for tube feeding. It is low in lactose and provides 1.0 kcal/mL with 28 essential vitamins and minerals, suitable as a sole source of nutrition or as a supplement for patients with or at risk of disease‑related malnutrition. Supplied in a ready‑to‑use 1000 mL RTH bottle that connects directly to Abbott Nutrition giving sets via a safety screw connector. Use under medical supervision; not suitable for individuals with galactosaemia.

Preparation and administration

• Ready to use; shake well before use
• Tube feeding: connect feeding set immediately before use; adjust flow rate and volume according to patient condition and tolerance; provide additional water as needed
• Discard product within 24 hours of attaching the feeding set
• If taken orally: cover and refrigerate after opening; use within 24 hours
