Overview

Abbott PediaSure Plus Ready-to-Hang (RTH) Vanilla is a paediatric, fibre-free, nutritionally complete and balanced oral nutritional supplement and enteral tube feed for children 1–10 years with, or at risk of, disease-related malnutrition. Energy-dense at 1.5 kcal/mL (150 kcal per 100 mL), it may be used as a sole source of nutrition or as a supplemental feed. Supplied in a 500 mL closed-system RTH bottle; vanilla flavour. Food for Special Medical Purposes. Use only under medical supervision.

Directions for use and handling

• Shake well; ready to use
• Oral: after opening, cover, refrigerate, and use within 24 hours
• Tube feeding: connect feeding set immediately before use; adjust flow/volume per patient tolerance and clinical direction; additional water may be provided as needed; discard within 24 hours of attaching the feeding set
• Storage: store unopened at room temperature
