Description

A paediatric Food for Special Medical Purposes from Abbott, PediaSure Powder provides complete, balanced nutrition at standard dilution (1.0 kcal/mL) for children aged 1–10 years at nutritional risk. It is suitable as an oral supplement between or with meals, or as a sole source of nutrition under medical supervision. Designed for both oral and tube feeding; Vanilla flavour is recommended for tube use.

Preparation and serving

• Per 225 mL serve: add 190 mL water and gradually mix in 5 level scoops (48.6 g Vanilla/Strawberry; 49.1 g Chocolate). Serve warm below 30°C; do not boil. Mixing with milk is possible but alters nutrition.
• Standard reconstitution to 1 L: 216 g (Vanilla/Strawberry) or 218.4 g (Chocolate).
• Suggested intake: ages 1–8 years up to 2 serves/day; ages 9–10 years up to 2–3 serves/day.
