Description
The priMED PRIMAGARD 120 Procedure Ear-Loop Mask with Visor is a 4-ply Level 2 procedure mask designed for moderate-risk fluid-splash environments and non-operating-room medical procedures. It combines respiratory barrier performance with an integrated visor to help protect against splashes, droplets, fluids, and particles encountered from the front and sides.
Key Features
This mask includes an anti-fog, anti-glare visor with wrap-around side wings for extended splash protection. An anti-fog foam strip helps reduce lens misting, while the outer black strip is designed to reduce glare during use. A full-width aluminum nose piece supports a closer fit across the nose, and soft, stretchy ear loops are intended to improve comfort during wear. Ultrasonically welded seams contribute to construction integrity, and the mask is latex-free.
Performance Specifications
The PRIMAGARD 120 offers fluid resistance of 120 mmHg (16 kPa), making it suitable for Level 2 procedure applications. It provides bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) of at least 99% and particle filtration efficiency (PFE) of at least 98%. Breathability is supported by a differential pressure of 2.4 mmH2O/cm^2 or less. The mask also meets Class 1 flame spread requirements.
Standards and Packaging
This product conforms to AS4381:2015 and ASTM F2100-11. It is supplied in denim blue and packaged with 25 masks per box.
