HARTMANN Proximel Non-Border is a non-bordered silicone polyurethane foam wound dressing built with a three-layer construction: a gentle silicone adhesive contact layer, an absorbent polyurethane foam core with a superabsorbent component, and a waterproof, bacteria-proof yet air-permeable backing. It is designed to manage moderate to heavy exudate with fast uptake and dynamic fluid handling to help maintain an optimal moist wound environment and reduce the risk of maceration. The conformable design and tapered edge lay smoothly around wound margins and is suitable for use under compression.

Indications and exudate level

• For management of wounds with moderate to heavy exudate

Application guidance

• Cleanse and dry the wound according to protocol
• Remove release films and apply the adherent side to the wound; do not stretch
• Overlap onto dry surrounding skin by approximately 1–2 cm (0.4–0.8 in)

Wear time

• Change based on patient condition and exudate level; maximum wear time up to 7 days
